GhostSurf Platinum 5.5

Protect your privacy by browsing the internet while the utility hides your address and details by encrypting the connection and preventing any unauthorized access. Spyware detection, erasing of browsing history and add removal are also among the options.

Nowadays, we all are exposed to attacks when surfing the web, so the best thing we can do is to use an application to protect ourselves and cover our tracks to avoid identity theft or being hacked. Hackers know everything is traceable when surfing the Internet, so why not give GhostSurf a shot? It makes it possible for us to go anonymously and safely through the web, while protects our data by encrypting the Internet connection.

This is not a web browser, but it hides the IP address, eliminates advertisements, encrypts data stored on temporary files, and erases our tracks. It also includes SpyCatcher, an antispyware that protects us from catching malware. Not only will it block malicious programs, but it also will remove them, if they manage to get into the system.

Additionally, it assures personal data encryption such as passwords or other important private information like addresses and telephone numbers.

It was designed to be used by anyone, as it has a simple interface, with no complex configurations. The interface is clean and intuitive. Each component is easily accessible and quick summaries of each one will inform us about what we're getting before launching.

The downside is the fact that some programs go slower when using GhostSurf; the Internet browsers take more time to load, and users complain about the lack of technical support.
